A demonstration against bullfights took place last Saturday in Malaga so we went to chant there to support the cause. Bullfights are considered part of the Spanish tradition as well as an “art”, but obviously it’s just a sophisticated way of torturing and killing one of the most peaceful animals, the bull… what to say from the vedic point of view…

This week the local festivities are going on. People invade the streets of Malaga with their traditional clothes and drink wine and dance all day and night, so after the demonstration we stayed there and it was a wonderful experience. Everybody was in such a joyful mood that they were very happy to see us and many raised their arms and danced in ecstasy!.
I hope we can go again next Saturday and maybe get some snaps this time. By now see the demonstration pictures…

It’s horrible that people kills animals in this cruel way. Fortunately some are becoming more sensitive and Krsna must be very happy to see that they want to protect the bulls. Next step, protection of the cows

Hare Krsna my dear friends. Yes, I turned 28

Although my birthday was yesterday, I celebrated it on Sunday cause all the devotees were going to be there and also HH Bhakti Caru Swami was coming so it was a very auspicious occasion.

I went early to the temple to make the cake. My mother sponsored it. Thank you!!! Because it’s Summer here, I though it was a good idea to decorate it with cream and fresh fruits… this was the result…

It was delicious… because Sri Sri Gaura Nitai accepted it

We had amazing kirtan leaded by Radha Vinod Prabhu…

I was washing pots in the kitchen with Bhaktin Isabel and when we heard the kirtan we came running!!!

Then we had the program with Maharaja. He told many beautiful pastimes…

I felt I was in the Spiritual World that day…

In fact Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu explained; in this age of Kali yuga there are only two religious principles: the chanting of the holy names and the service to the vaishnavas. We have come to this Krsna conscious movement because we want to be purified, we want to come out of this world of misery and attain pure unalloyed love for the Lord. Therefore we must take these two principles most seriously as the most important aspect of our life; the chanting of the holy names of Krsna and the service to the Lord’s devotees.

HG Yadunandana Prabhu comes a few times every year. This was one of that auspicious occasions. This time we went to the Coast, when the sun was setting. We had a very ecstatic Harinam last Saturday…

Janhava and I were dancing all the time on the stage. We look exhausted but very happy!!!

That’s all. I must apologize for not writing more nectar but I don’t have much time these days. I hope you can understand it. See you soon!!!. Bhakti Caru Maharaja is coming the day after tomorrow, when it’s also Radha Gopinathji’s birthday, then my birthday in one week… I will be busy busy busy!!!

Ah! I have been cooking at the temple with Uttara Mataji also. Just simple preparation for sweet Gaura Nitai and the resident devotees. Thank you Sri Sri Gaura Nitai for this special mercy!!!

Festival of India - A tour along the Baltic Sea Coast is a movie about the Festival that goes on every year in Poland leaded by HH Indradyumna Swami. Now you can watch it online!

Watching this movie brought back good memories… my brother made this movie in 2004 so the desire of going there appeared in my heart, like it happened with the Harinam movie (check it out on About me).

In 2005 I was in India and had to leave the country because of the visa…Where to go? I went to Poland! It took more than one day to reach there due to some flight delays and so on but it was worth it… I could find the pictures I had somewhere on the Internet so here they are…

This are some snaps from the festival…

We went on Harinam for several hours every day… it was ecstatic!!!

I had service in the kitchen and these are the devotees I served with… and I also made gopi dots during the festivals… I learnt to sleep anywhere during my visit there, hehehe. I think I was never so exhausted in my life but I was so happy that who cares…

Bhakti Vidya Purna Maharaja came for a few days and gave wonderful lectures and questions and answers sessions…

These are some of all the good friends I made there…

It was nice to remember the good times…
I couldn’t make it for Woodstock at that time. I tried to change my flight ticket but it was not possible, so that means that I must come back again in the future… I hope this happens soon. Please pray for that!
