Festivals here were very nice. I think many of you are still tired but fully satisfied.
I will post a few reports of the Festivals celebrated in Malaga (Spain) so I hope you enjoy them!
There is a new Hindu temple in a place called Benalmadena (were I live) and Janmastami was celebrated on the 15th. We were kindly invited so after Yadunandana Prabhu’s seminar we went there.
They had a big altar with many different deities: Laxmi Narayan in the center, then Radha-Krsna, Sita-Rama Laksman Hanuman, Durga and some others that I couldn’t recognize.
They also had some pictures of different spiritual leaders, included Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary, but it was a pleasant surprise to see our founder acarya His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada on that wall.
Jaya Srila Prabhupada!
Devakinandana Prabhu leaded a nice kirtan…
…and Vedavyasa Prabhu, our temple president, gave an inspiring lecture inviting all the assembled devotees to come to the ISKCON temple the next day.
There was also some dancing program…
and here are some of the dancers…
I went home arround 23:30 to get ready for our Janmastami Festival.
Haribol!

It is inspiring and uplifing that Hindus have managed to Build a beautifull temple In Spain and shrare the faith with the natives.
Indeed, the famous spanish flamenco dancers come from India ,brought by Indian Gypsies who have been persecuted in europe for yonks.Indeed, under Islam,Judaism and Fundamental Chrischianity,Hindu religion and faith is considered idolatory and paganism and the faith of the infidels.hence, Spain ,a catholic country, with a lot of Moorsih blood and lineage and culture does seem to be liberal and tolerant,to allow Hindus a temple.I do not subscribe to the Bull fighting in spain and my English wife,is put off from visiting spain because of its barbarity and brutality and lack of compassion for animals.Hence,i hope through the temple and Hindu faith, you would promote love and respect of women, children and mother cow and the animal kingdom,as all the pictures of Krishna Bhagwan,do depict and show Lord Krishna, sitting with Gopis, playing flute to the assembled animal bretherens and sisters, under the Peepal tree.with best wishes,
ravi
